Essential protection As the warm weather sets in you may find that foundation and powder feels too heavy on your skin. Instead look for a tinted moisturiser that contains sun protection. It is essential you apply an SPF factor of 15 or higher every day to combat those early signs of aging such as sun spots and fine lines. Remember that you'll be exposed to harmful UVA and UVB rays even on a cloudy day. A little concealer dabbed under the eye will help to even out your skin tones. The eyes have it Choose your eye shadow in lighter, neutral shades for the summer. Keep it minimal, just a little eyeliner and a touch of waterproof mascara will open up your eyes without applying all your usual makeup. Luscious lips If you are sunbathing don't forget to protect your lips from the damaging UV rays. Just a little lip balm will keep them soft and supple. Instead of heavy lipstick, opt for a light natural colour lip gloss which will be much easier to wear when you are hot. Blush it up If you need to boost your cheekbones try applying a bronzing powder rather than a blusher to complement your newly acquired suntan.
