Christmas Toys The Secret to Buying Perfect Gifts When you watch people open presents from you, how do you feel? Do you feel delighted that you got it right because they are obviously thrilled or do you feel that you have wasted your money and that they are going to give that item away at the next charity raffle?

If you want to always have the perfect gift for every person there are a few simple rules to follow.

The Gift Experience Company Your presents should be personal, thoughtful and put everyone else's to shame. It doesn't need to be expensive or time consuming,  you simply need to follow these three steps.

Step 1: Pay Attention. All through the year people talk to you about what is missing from their lives or what could make it better, all you have to do is listen. Your Mum complains that her slippers are stretched and worn, your husband says that his hands were cold when he went cycling, your boss is frequently swearing it his mouse, you may be out shopping with your friend when they point to something they particularly like but would never buy for themselves.  The key to a successful present is paying attention. Each comment represents an opportunity for a perfect gift – write it down so that you will remember when you need to buy that person a present!

Step 2: Make a List. Make a note of what you've bought and for whom! You don’t want to buy the same thing twice and discover it festering in a cupboard next summer.

Step 3: Celebrate! To add an incentive for you to be more organized, reward yourself when a gift is a big hit. Whether it’s just giving yourself a pat on the back or buying yourself something special, you know that you've done well and made someone happy with your choice
