Placed in the centre of the beautiful Jalon valley this once small village has become a sprawling town with urbanisations sprouting from the main road. From the town itself there is a road leading up into the Bernia where you can take a leisurely long walk or a very pleasurable and scenic drive. Whilst Jalon is renowned for it’s bodegas where you can taste and purchase locally produced wines it has also become well known for its flea market (Rastro) on Saturday mornings by the river. This village holds its main fiesta in June with parades and bull-running and then the in July has the Moors and Christians fiesta.
